Smrekarjeva domačija

Smrekarjeva domačija is located in town Prestranek, near Postojna. It is only 33 km away from Trieste.

They have rebuilt the barn, which is now suitable for different occassions: lunches, parties, promotional gatherings, business meetings...

Guests are served with cold meats and food, made from their own cattle, slovenian autochthonously breed, called cikasto govedo (cattle). They also serve different types of cheeses, quail eggs and good wine. Smrekarjeva domačija is well known for their donkey goulash and veal stew.

They practice eco farming and grow numerous cereals: buckwheat, spelt, vegetables, fruit... In their barns and meadows you can find donkeys from Istra, krškopoljski prašič (pig) and cikasto govedo (cattle).

Guests can also stay over night. Rooms are nicely furnished, they all have bathroom, shower and TV, some also have seated area, where you can relax.

Location of Smrekarjeva domačija is perfect for cycling. You can also rent out bikes at the accommodation.
