An excellent large apartment in an historical building in the centre of the city only a few metres from the river. Outside, the pedestrianised street has cafes and bars nearby and you can even watch the world go by from the white benches strategically placed along the street. Inside the main door the old building is a palazzo layout with a central courtyard. My apartment was on the second floor behind solid wooden doors, while inside everything is of a high modern standard. All mod-cons, big fridge, excellent shower etc. Great for a single person (as I was) or a couple. The sofa area could easily accommodate a child. No down side really and I"d highly recommend. I"ll look forward to staying there again! Stephen McNeff.
