Bistrica ob Sotli
Between Sotla river and the border with Croatia in the southeastern part of Slovenia lies city Bistrica ob Sotli. Important part of the region is the pilgrimage tourism. Holy Mountains have been an ancient pilgrimage center with a church dedicated to Mary's birth. Above the church there are two chapels, one is called Lady of Lourdes and other St. Sebastian and Fabian. Beneath the church you can find another two chapels, chapels of St. George and Martin.
Because the landscape is rich with vineyards, you can taste delicious wines from several wineries (Kralj, Stadler, Püst, Zorneč - Honjec).
