Dravograd
Dravograd lies at the junction of three rivers - Drava, Meža and Mislinja and near the Austrian border. Because of the geological heritage and a development strategy it is a part of Geopark Karavanke.
Dravograd is surrounded by a great scenery, such as Nature Park Košenjak-Velka, where it is possible to see a large variety of plants and animals and some of the old trees that represent dendrological natural monument.
In Dravograd you can see attractions such as old city centre, Church of St. Vid and Church of st. John the Evangelist and rural area with old buildings from the medieval settlement.
Interesting part of Dravograd is Hydroelectric power plant on the Drava River, which makes reservoir called Lake Dravograd.
