Novo mesto
Novo mesto is the capital of Dolenjska, embraced by the river Krka. The area surrounded by the Gorjanci in the southeast, by Kočevski Rog in the southwest and in the north by vineyards planted Trška gora.
Novo mesto is an important economic center with successful companies like Krka, Revoz, Adria Mobil and TPV.
Novo mesto is also called the city of situlae. Archaeologists have found here figural decorated situla from the Iron Age. Situlae have great importance in the cultural heritage of Slovenia.
